Project Detail
| Description: |
Ross & Associates is providing support to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Office of Program Management Operations (OPMO) to convene and facilitate a conference on the use of performance measures and indicators for improving air quality management programs. OPMO recently conducted a comprehensive review of performance measures and environmental indicators used by EPA’s Office of Air and Radiation (OAR) to assess how well they align with the strategic targets laid out in the agency's strategic plan, which is required by the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA). OPMO conducted an initial workshop in December 2004 to begin a dialogue with OAR's program offices and other interested stakeholders to explore how well program performance measures aligned with OAR's strategic planning, performance measurement, and results reporting efforts. This conference will bring together representatives from OAR and other interested stakeholders to further discuss current initiatives and opportunities for future action. Ross & Associates is supporting all aspects of conference planning and convening, including agenda development, logistics planning, facilitation, and note taking. |
