Supporting EPA Regions 9 and 10, Ross & Associates provides comprehensive facilitation, strategic program development, and management support for the West Coast Collaborative, a public-private partnership working to reduce diesel emissions along the West Coast. The Collaborative accomplishes this goal through innovative voluntary approaches, including market-based incentives, new technologies, and collaborative communication. Stakeholders from public agencies, industry, non-governmental organizations, community groups, industry associations, and local, state, provincial, and federal governments work together in a number of industry-specific workgroups to encourage diesel emission reductions. In supporting the EPA Collaborative team, Ross & Associates helps to foster a culture of environmental problem solving and innovation among Collaborative team members. In particular, Ross & Associates provides facilitation support for the Marine Vessels and Ports workgroup including identifying priority issues, performing analytic research, and developing outreach strategies. In addition, Ross & Associates facilitates the multi-national technical team preparing the fact base for a Sulfur Emission Control Area (SECA) application for North America. Ross & Associates also provides support for sector workgroup meetings, full Collaborative public workshops, and steering committee meetings as needed including meeting planning and facilitation. Finally, Ross & Associates provides support for the communications and education component by developing and disseminating materials, providing technical and administrative direction for informational events, and maintaining a website built by Ross & Associates for the West Coast Collaborative. |
